The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds.”
Matthew 11:19

Our new series has focused on 3 types of relationships:
with Jesus, with Followers, and with all the Other people.
This week will be “Fresh relationship with others”

Jesus was accused of being a friend of sinners. That was the word on the street in first-century Palestine.  They called him this because it was true.  This is all very important for us because, we as followers of Jesus pattern our lives after Jesus’s example. He has sent us into the world in the same Spirit of his own mission. If Jesus was a friend of sinners, we should be too!

Come as you are. We're here as an open sanctuary of hope to Shawnee. We are a community of friends and FAMILIES devoted to sharing God's love with the entire neighborhood, especially those who are hurting.

Our worship is all about passionately expressing our love for God, in the liberty of His presence, whether singing a modern chorus or a traditional hymn, whether in quiet reverence or with joyful noise!

Our faith is not a set of rules, it's a lifestyle of freedom in Christ. He is here with us today through His Holy Spirit, to have a relationship with us, to guide, to help, to love, and to save us.

The pastor's message is always meant to encourage, edify, and instruct us in applying God's word to our everyday lives. It's principles help us live a more satisfying and victorious life no matter what challenges we face.
